SCCC Student Art Show and Portfolio Exhibition Slated for May

Mark Your Calendar for This Spring’s Upcoming Student Art Show and Portfolio Exhibition!

The Fine Art Department will be hosting its Annual Juried Student Show in the new Atrium Exhibition Space this spring! The opening reception will be on Friday, May 2nd(5:00 - 7:00 PM) and is open to the public. All students, their families, and friends are welcome to enjoy the stellar student work in photography, watercolor, printmaking, drawing, painting, mixed media, or 3D sculpture. The SCCC Juried Student Show is open to all students who attended art classes during the 2024 - 2025 Academic Year, and their work will be juried by award-winning faculty.  

Details will be posted in art classes and throughout the C Art Building. This is a highlight of the academic year that showcases the broad range of talent, creativity, and achievements of our visual arts students. You won't want to miss it! 

Another exciting event in the Art Department will be the Portfolio Exhibition, our first time ever hosting this graduating SCCC student show! The Portfolio Exhibition will feature the artwork of our SCCC Portfolio Development Students in Fine Art and Photography, celebrating their excellence and unique artistic visions. The opening reception for the Portfolio Exhibition will be on Friday, May 9th(5:00 - 7:00 PM).
