Fashion Designer and Merchandiser Professor Camille Fuller Brings SCCC’s Fashion Potential to Life!

With over a year as an Adjunct Professor in Fashion/Design and Merchandising at SCCC and with several years of experience in the field of fashion design under her belt, Camille Fuller is both empowering and driving her students toward success in the colorful fashion industry!

As professor, one of Fuller’s primary goals is to embolden a strong sense of artistic freedom and creativity in her students. By creating a union between artistic freedom while at the same time emphasizing the necessities of artistic discipline, students are taught to be inventive while adhering to artistic frameworks established by the fashion industry.

Students enrolled in the Fashion Design program can expect to learn and apply the elements, principles, and nuances of design and composition, analyze the aesthetic implications of design theory, examine connections between theory and practice in the field of design, and carefully examine connections between theory and practice in the field of design. Lastly, towards the end of the program, a portfolio is made by each student that showcases their artistic and crafty prowess.

Fuller’s academic background, including a B.A. in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Albright College and a certificate in Sustainable Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology coupled with her experience as a seamstress, enables Fuller to teach her passion through the lens of hands-on skill and expertise. This, coupled with her profound focus on sustainable design ensures fashionable pieces are made without negatively affecting the environment makes Fuller a powerful inspiration to her students and the college community alike.
